Wix Web Design and Development Course Terms and Conditions

1. Enrollment and Payment:
Payment Responsibility: By enrolling in this course, participants agree to pay the course fee promptly within 72 hours of signing up. Payment must be made via credit card through the designated payment portal provided by the instructor or course administrator. Failure to make payment within the specified time frame may result in the participant forfeiting their place in the course.
Non-Refundable Fees: All course fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed, except in cases where the course is canceled by the instructor or course administrator.

2. Course Materials and Intellectual Property:
Ownership: All course materials provided during the course, including but not limited to lectures, presentations, handouts, and exercises, are the intellectual property of the instructor. Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials solely for personal educational purposes.
Prohibited Use: Participants agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, or publicly display any course materials without prior written consent from the instructor. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

3. Attendance and Participation:
Attendance Expectations: Participants are expected to attend all scheduled classes punctually and actively participate in discussions and activities.
Missed Classes: If a participant misses a class, it is their responsibility to catch up on missed content. The instructor may provide recordings or make-up sessions at their discretion, but this is not guaranteed.

4. Code of Conduct:
Respectful Behavior: Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner towards the instructor and fellow participants. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the course without a refund.
Compliance: Participants agree to abide by all applicable laws and regulations while participating in the course, including but not limited to copyright laws and intellectual property rights.

5. Modifications and Cancellations:
Course Changes: The instructor reserves the right to modify the course content, schedule, or any other aspect of the course as necessary. Participants will be notified of any significant changes in advance.
Cancellation Policy: In the event that the course is canceled by the instructor or course administrator, participants will be notified promptly, and a full refund of any paid fees will be provided.

6. Technology and Privacy:
Participant Responsibility: Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary technology, such as a computer and stable internet connection, to access and participate in the course sessions.
Privacy: Personal information collected during the registration process will be used solely for course-related communications and administrative purposes. Participant information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

 

7. Limitation of Liability:
No Warranty: While every effort is made to provide accurate and up-to-date information, the instructor makes no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the course materials.
Liability Exclusion: The instructor and course administrator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the participant’s use of the course materials or participation in the course, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

 

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:
Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Israel.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from or related to these terms and conditions shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Jerusalem, Israel, conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association..

 

9. Agreement:
Acceptance: By signing up for the course, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with these terms and conditions in their entirety.
